Yangon International Airport was upgraded to accommodate an uptick in the number of projected tourism arrivals. Bright and functional airport lighting was installed to awaken any sleepy travelers and welcome them into the country. Highly functional lighting schemes were proposed to ensure that the entire airport area remains well lit throughout all hours of the night, while providing the basic lighting requirements for international airports.
